Gala Banquet Event Update - Registration Closed June 22nd, 2011 The Gala Banquet has reached an astounding number of guests, and we are now at the maximum number of guest slots available! On account of this, we are no longer taking registration requests for the Gala Banquet! Thank you all for the support! NADC 2011 Site Update - Opening Ceremony May 29th, 2011 The details concerning the Opening Ceremony has been updated with more information! The event will be taking place at the East Buffet Restaurant in Flushing, NY on June 22nd, 2011. For pricing details and for more information, please visit the Ceremonies page to learn more about the upcoming Opening Ceremony! It includes a ton of food! NADC 2011 Update - RIT / Gallaudet Events! May 28th, 2011 As part of NADC 2011, we will also be hosting two separate events for alumni hailing from both the Rochester Institution of Technology, and Gallaudet University! Each college will have their own event, so all alumni can converge together and catch up with other community members, as well as learn more about their university! Event Cancellation - Bally's Casino, Atlantic City Event has been cancelled May 5th, 2011 Unfortunately, we will be cancelling our trip to Atlantic City's Bally's Casino on May 7th due to insufficient interest/attendances. However, BSD is hosting a Poker Tournament on the same day so not all is lost! For more information, please check out the BSD Poker Event details here. Event Update - Brooklyn Society for the Deaf Texas Hold'Em Poker II (Gala) May 4th, 2011 We will be having another poker event at the Brooklyn Society for the Deaf! The fundraising efforts here coming from the entrance fees will be going towards the Gala Banquet event as part of NADC 2011! It will be taking place on May 7th, 2011! Event Update - Union County College ASL Festival April 23rd, 2011 The Union County College will be hosting an American Sign Language festival! There will be a special program for the afternoon, plus performances done by UCC students. There are also more than 30 vendors to visit for various deaf products, come on over and check it out! Site Update - Ceremonies April 13th, 2011 We have set up a new section under NADC 2011 menu, called "Ceremonies". In this section, you will find details concerning the Opening Ceremony, and the Gala Banquet. These ceremonies are a big part of the NADC 2011 Conference, and this section will be updated with additional information concerning these two events as new information surfaces. Event Update - Brooklyn Society for the Deaf Texas Hold'Em Poker (Gala) April 13th, 2011 The Brooklyn Society for the Deaf liked us so much the last time they want us back again for another Poker session! This time, we are setting this poker event up for fundraising towards the Gala Banquet event as part of NADC 2011! It will be taking place on April 23rd, 2011! Event Update - Bally's Casino in Atlantic City April 12th, 2011 If you haven't satiated your hunger for poker or gambling, we have set up another event for Bally's Casino in Atlantic City as part of our fundraising event taking place on May 7th, 2011! If you are interested, please check this event out! All proceedings for this trip (save the gambling... that's on your own!) will go to the Gala Event!Site Addition - NYC Tours April 4th, 2011 A new section has been added in our menu, titled "NYC Tours", which will enable you to view a nice video April Rose has set up for our use. This video has April Rose personally informing you the various landmarks you can go to in New York City! If you are interested in touring New York City, but are unsure where to go to, the video provides a excellent introduction to sightseeing the city! Subtitles included! You can see the video here! The NADC 2011 Conference is an event that provides an overview of Asian Deaf culture roots in both personal and professional backgrounds. The conference will be hosting a program with various workshops and exhibitions that represents various solutions to life's issues, as well as provide opportunities for people to get involved in their personal endeavors!
